Truly saved?   I mean drag me out back, line me up and shoot me saved? 
Some in England were burned at the stake for writing the bible in English!
Many had their heads cut off before their children, if they would not accept the pope as God! 
Matthew 24, Jesus said, "They will deliver you to tribulation, and put you to death"
   Matthew 24:9  They will kill you: and you will be hated for my name's sake.
John 15:18-19 "If the world hates you, it hated Me before you. If you were of  the world,
the world would love you;  but because you are not of the world, because I have chosen
you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. The "Christians" who are not truly saved are still part of the world and will hate you.    Some will call you the antichrist.

The evidence of salvation, lies in the changed life of the saved person.
It will change your outlook on life,   with a strong desire to see others saved.
If you are truly saved, by the confession of your sins.   As Jesus reveals them to you.
You are a brother to Jesus, born again, baptized by His Holy Spirit, with full power
of the Saints and Jesus, according to your faith!            You control demons!

  Only the power of Christ alone in you, can work the transformation in heart and mind that you must experience, you will partake with Him of the new life in the kingdom of heaven. "Except a man be born again," the Savior  said, "he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:3. The religion that comes from Jesus is the only religion that can lead to God, in order to serve Him right. You must be baptized by His Holy Spirit. This will lead to a watchfulness. It purifies your heart, renews your mind, gives you a new capacity for loving God. It gives you a willing obedience to His commands.  You will hear Him and obey Him.
Your desire will be to please God and see others saved. This is true worship.
   If you are truly saved, the Holy Spirit will give you words that God wants you to hear.
Obeying these words is the "works" that you do to please God and further His Kingdom.
The words from Him are your commandments to obey.  Failure, and the Holy Spirit will haunt you.  Failure requires you to visit Jesus again. You will not turn back. You are a New Person" and will be forgiven and go on. You will never deny what God has done!
   Hearing God's voice through the Holy Spirit is the same as the ten commandments given to the Jews.  If truly "born again" your desire is to please God in all ways, it rules your life.
Failing and being forgiven is simply learning.  This is where your growth will come, for the rest of your "born again" life.    Proverbs 2: 1-7   My son, when you receive My words, and hide My commandments within you;  You will incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry after knowledge, and lift up your voice for understanding; If you seek My words as gold, and search for My words;  Then will you understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.   
         God gives you wisdom, out of His mouth comes knowledge and understanding. 
He lays up sound wisdom for the righteous. He is strength to them that walk uprightly.

Salvation is not an alter call, baptism, or a preacher saying you are saved.
Baptizing and the alter call replace the difficult and narrow gate designed by our Savior
(Mark 8:34; Matt. 7:14) it is an easy and wide gate designed by the church. These practitioners have given many unsaved persons the false confidence that they truly know Jesus. 
You will be born into the church and religion. Your true alter call must be with Jesus.
He knows your true sins and will reveal them to you. Not sins you choose to confess.
Matthew 3:11 "I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming
after me is mightier than I,  Jesus will baptize you with His Holy Spirit and fire.
It is a very simple and short trip, but only when
God has allowed your self chosen life to bring you to Jesus.
No short cuts!  It is Satan the Antichrist who offers  an easy way. 

Matthew 4:19  Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers.
They were casting a net into the sea, they were fishermen.  "Come, follow Me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." At once they left and followed Him.   Will you?
Yes, you will suffer, that has already started!  Jesus will come at the end of Tribulation.
Your work is to see how many your witness will help lead to Jesus!
